Our Values

We value each life and feel it should be lived to the highest potential. Our goal is to advance this potential in our animal’s lives in ways varying from relieving pain and suffering due to injury and/or illness, to increasing the level of performance in animal athletes. We believe there is a definite and much needed place in the animal health care system for chiropractic care, and we strive to make a difference each day, by treating animals using chiropractic and educating those who wish to learn more about Animal Chiropractic.

Options for Animals was the first institution to recognize the importance of animal chiropractic care in conjunction with veterinary practices. We began in 1988 and we are credited with developing this new discipline; Animal Chiropractic. With this achievement came enormous responsibilities that we take very seriously to this day.

Options for Animals was founded and is still bound by the following principles:

  1. Our ultimate goal is to bring relief of pain and suffering for animals through the benefits of chiropractic care.
  2. We are committed to the continuing advancement of chiropractic as a health care choice for animals in the world community.
  3. We will create a new profession of animal health care synthesized from veterinary and chiropractic practice.
  4. We hope to encourage the interaction of the veterinary and chiropractic professions into one of mutual respect in the pursuit of common goals. These goals should be, first and foremost, the health of our animal patients.
  5. We will accomplish this with teaching based on love, the spirit of discovery, and a commitment to give.
  6. We will bear the burdens of the pioneer so that the path will be clearer and straighter for those that follow.
  7. We know that the foundations we create will influence animal chiropractic care for the generations of animals and humans to come.
  8. We understand that our time here is but brief, yet the ultimate truth in chiropractic is universal, enduring and significant.
