Established over 23 years ago, Options For Animals is the oldest and most experienced animal chiropractic institution in the world, dedicated entirely to providing preeminent animal healthcare by offering the most comprehensive and qualified education available.
As the field of animal chiropractic continues to evolve, more people are attracted to our interdisciplinary approach and stimulated by the intellectual challenge this growing field involves. Options For Animals honors this progressive approach to education while maintaining our commitment to the foundational principles of our beginnings. Founded by Dr. Sharon Willoughby in 1986, our philosophy is embedded in the integration of veterinary medicine and animal chiropractic, dedicated to ensuring the advancement of the animal chiropractic profession.
Situated on 10 acres of scenic farmland in Wellsville, Kansas, we’re conveniently located 35 miles southwest of Kansas City, MO. We remain the only campus in the world built exclusively for integrative veterinary and chiropractic animal training, as all classroom and laboratory instruction are suitably provided on premises.
Over the last decade, there has been a tremendous transformation and expansion here at Options, and we’ve grown into an international teaching institution. We now have affiliate campuses with the International Academy for Veterinary Chiropractic in Sittensen, Germany and at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, England. As all courses are taught in English, we can now provide our students with a broader opportunity to advance and develop their education.
Additionally, we’re now providing access to research and outreach, including our recent collaboration with the International Academy for Veterinary Chiropractic in Germany and the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.
With over 2000 veterinarian and chiropractic graduates in over 28 countries on six continents, our curriculum remains the most qualified and comprehensive program in the world. Our graduates develop techniques and critical thinking skills to improve their awareness, broaden their insights, and prepare them for a rewarding future as leaders in the animal chiropractic profession.
